I suppose I have more of a question, I'm not particularly good at reading clasisc literature but am required to for a project. I started reading but the book didn't began where this online text does, it began with a conversation between Aramis and a Duchese, in which she's trying to bargain for money. I'm just curious why this version has 170 pages of this before it begins with 'The Prisoner' ?
