I have read the book "The Mayor of Casterbridge" written by Thomas Hardy. I found it very interesting but I also thought that the main character Mike Henchard was in some sense against women thinking that it was his wife's fault when he sold her in action. I did enjoy the novel, although thought the book was depressing. For all who read this book, caution yourself it is not as happy and enjoyable as it seems. But I am suggesting that anyone who seems interested in it then please read it. It is hard and deep, you will get wrapped up in it and it possibly will take you a while. TRY IT AND I SURE YOU WILL ENJOY IT!!! IT IS WORTH A CHANCE!
