What spoke most to me while reading Bronte's "Jane Eyre" was the feminist overtones and constant theme of a feminist rebirth, not only with Jane herself but also those around her. I encourage all those who are reading the book to look for them - especially with Jane's passionate outbursts early on in the novel, and the symobolism of the woman in the attic - one of Bronte's most famous (but shady!) characters.
