I thought that this book sucked. Nothing very interesting happened. Grrrr....I can never forget the torture i went trhough while reading it.

Especially while reading Brontė at age 15, of course tastes will differ among Jane Eyre, as with any novel, but I received much enjoyment also reading this novel (and this post).

akk I hated the book read it understood it yes alot of things symbolic important thenmes like abuse of power etc didnt stop me from hating it though though I will admit its an important bit of literary history just too melodramatic and coincidental for my taste
