Wow, I dare say that a group of individuals from today could survive as this group did. Wait, this was fiction, right? I sometimes forgot that fact while I was attempting to absorb the technical reality that I take for granted today.<br><br>Hmmm, I wonder if I could start a fire with my watch crystal...Wait a moment, I think my "crystal" may be plastic...<br><br>If I ever find myself stranded on such an island, I hope that a copy of this book washes up. It might increase my odds of surviving.<br><br>Great book. Awesome book if you consider the time it was written. Verne is a master.
