Oh, I love this rolled paper design. I like the method and have seen instructional books on doing it. Have you ever tried it? The saying here is nice - "The magic is in the telling"
Yes, I remember doing this at primary school, using the knife.. oh and I cut my self while I was curling so I avoided to use the technique again!
I never tried it. Yes, those exacto knives can be very sharp, or do you mean the paper cut you? Those can pain one so. I have gotten cut more than once on exacto knives and on mat knives - those things are lethal...especially with a dull blade - they tend to slip and cut you. I got a puncture cut with an exacto once and had to have stitches in my arm near my elbow - don't ask how I did it....some freak accident.
