IT IS a bizarre comparisonand one that is sure to upset parents and raise eyebrows in literary circles.

The countrys most celebrated gay campaigner has come out in support of theIrish language poet who was filmed admitting he had sex with 16-year-old boysand likened his situation to the plight of Oscar Wilde.
