Al Pacino will reprise his Broadway perf in Oscar Wilde's "Salome" at the Wadsworth Theater in L.A. April 14-May 14.

Estelle Parsons again directs the show's pared-down, staged-reading format, with original music by Yukio Tsuji.

Pacino plays King Herod in Wilde's poetic version of the biblical tale that climaxes in the Dance of the Seven Veils. Kevin Anderson ("Brooklyn") portrays John the Baptist, played by David Strathairn on Broadway, and Jessica Chastain takes over the title role from Marisa Tomei.
