Oscar Wilde's hilarious play The Importance of Being Earnest will mark the opening of the Arts Forum Festival.

The Victorian tale of mistaken identity promises a great start to the annual North East Lincolnshire event.

It will be held at the Oaklands Hotel, in Barton Street, Laceby, from Monday, July 30 to Thursday, August 2 at 7pm each evening.

Darren Bolton of the Shooting Fish Theatre Company, which is organising the event, said: "Last year we kicked off with A Midsummer Night's Dream and it was a sell-out performance.
