A new film based on the sci-fi novel 'The Time Machine' by H.G. Wells was directed by the author's great-grandson Simon Wells.

Simon Wells was an animator with Steven Spielberg's DreamWorks and 'The Time Machine' is his first live-action feature film.

The film stars Guy Pearce, Samantha Mumba and Jeremy Irons. It is currently rated top at the US box office and will be released in the UK in May.
