It is noteworthy that some of the big names of International fame who rightly deserved the prize have not been granted the prize, such as George Santayana, Arnold J. Toyenbee, Oscar Wilde, Somerset Maugham, H. G. Wells, Arthur Corian Doyle and many others. Those belonging to communist and Muslim groups have particularly been connived at, as for example Leo Tolstoy, Maxim Gorky, Kamal Ataturk.
