What is proving quite a week of top-notch pianists in the city, with visits already from Peter Donohoe and Stephen Hough (and despite the cancellation of a Murray Perahia recital), continues tonight at the Adrian Boult Hall with an intriguing programme from Murray McLachlan of music composed under the Soviet regime. Moysey Samuilovich Weinberg joins the better-known names of Kabalevsky, Myaskovsky, Shostakovich and Prokofiev (7.30pm, details on 0121 303 2323).
