The Regional Council for the Ecole Maritime Aquacole has embarked on a redevelopment program for the Fecamp harbour in Normandy, France, which includes the restoration of a public-sector boarding school to train potential fishermen. Architect Jacques Etienne was commissioned to design the fishermen school, which accommodates teaching, catering and administrative facilities. The redevelopment project also includes the restoration of famous French writer Guy de Maupassant's house and the rehabilitation of the harbour's fish-curing shed.
