Purposely lightweight and delightfully peppy, the musical version of "Anne of Green Gables" does everything but paint a smile on your face. It's a happy, happy, happy show, one that ends its first act with 20-plus characters singing and dancing about the glories of ice cream on the Isthmus Playhouse's tiny stage.
