REDLANDS - LifeHouse Theater's 14th season of original family musicals continues with the premiere of its latest new production, "Anne of Avonlea."

Based on the second novel in the world-famous series of books about Anne Shirley, a lovable orphan created by Lucy Maud Montgomery 100 years ago, "Anne of Avonlea" is a tale of friendship set to music.

The opening performance is at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27. Performances continue weekends through Nov. 18, at 7:30 p.m. Fridays, 2:15 and 7:30 p.m. Saturdays and 2:15 p.m. Sundays. There is one Thursday evening performance, at 7:30 on Nov. 15. The ...
