Central Washington University issued the following news release:

The 1840s clash between the smokestacks of industry and the bucolic farmlands of Coketown, England, serves as the backdrop for "Hard Times," which will begin Central Theatre Ensemble's 2006-2007 main stage season. It will open Thursday, Nov. 9, in McConnell Auditorium on Central Washington University's campus in Ellensburg, Wash. Adapted by Stephen Jefferies, the stage presentation remains true to the episodic nature of Charles Dickens' classic novel about the dehumanizing effect of the industrial revolution.
