Lucie Manette.

Lucie Manette is only seventeen years old when we first meet her. She
cannot remember her father, who was snatched away from her when she was but
a child, and her mother died shortly after. Since then she has been raised by
Miss Pross, a kind, loving governess and friend. But despite her unfortunate
childhood, Lucie strikes us immediately as a gentle, unassuming young woman
