Speaking to a packed audience at the Motorola annual meeting at the Art Institute of Chicago, billionaire activist investor Carl Icahn on Monday conceded he probably won't muster enough votes to claim a seat on the Motorola board.

Polling of shareholders indicates a close race -- RAZR close. The company said late Monday that preliminary results show Icahn will not be elected.
