IN THE Devil's Dictionary, the cynical Ambrose Bierce defines a quotation as: "The act of repeating erroneously the words of another." That's the sort of opinion that would bring a song of praise to the lips of Jacob Zuma.

The ANC deputy president has strong views on the subject of quotes and misquotes, as you will have read, and especially ones about a "generally corrupt relationship".
