A selection of Beatrix Potter animals made by the Beswick pottery were on offer at Hampton and Littlewood. Samuel Whiskers, Jeremy Fisher, Squirrel Nutkin, Tom Kitten and Mrs Tittlemouse sold for pounds55 each. Two groups, each comprising four Beswick Beatrix Potter figures made pounds40 per group. They included Jemina Puddleduck and Benjamin Bunny.
Beswick began producing Beatrix Potter figures around 1947 and continued with the range for decades.
