UWM master's degree student is back on the dance stage

The graduate program in dance at the University of Wisconsin- Milwaukee was made for the likes of Hetty King, who will cap her master of fine arts degree with solo concerts this weekend.

King, 37, started her career in 1985. The roots of it go back to age 5, when she told her mother that she wanted to be a dancing clown. On the strength of that remark, her mother, poet Martha King, and her father, painter Basil King, sent her to dance class. She took to them immediately and ...
