A limited-edition biography of the Scottish novelist and poet Sir Walter Scott is to be sold in an Internet auction next week.
The ten-volume 'Life of Sir Walter Scott', which dates from 1902, is expected to fetch more than GBP1,000 according to the Scottish newspaper Evening News. Only 1,040 copies of the books were produced.
The books were written by Sir Walter's son-in-law and friend John Gibson Lockhart.
