Author Gene Stratton-Porter earned the name "bird woman" from her readers because of her lovingly accurate portrayals of nature and wildlife. Gifts inspired by Porter's novels make Christmas shopping for the nature enthusiasts on your own lists easy!

Free site admission and refreshments will be provided during two special shopping days, Saturday, Dec. 15, and Saturday, Dec. 22, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. All items in the gift shop will be discounted by 20 percent or more! These include novels by Porter and videos and ...
