Investigative reporter Samuel Hopkins Adams, a Hamilton College grad, debunked quackery at a health convention in Syracuse yesterday. He said he'd like to see the distribution of a "rogues gallery" of people who peddle fake cures. He also said tuberculosis victims are susceptible to those frauds. He puts quacks in two categories: those who swindle and those who create addictions, adding, "Of the former I know of one concern which sells a remedy consisting of one part water and ninety-nine parts advertising."
