ROBERT BARR NAMED UNIVERSITY OF ALABAMA NATIONAL ALUMNI ASSOCIATION PRESIDENT

The University of Alabama issued the following news release:

Robert W. "Bill" Barr of Troy has been named president of The University of Alabama National Alumni Association for 2006-2007.

Barr, a circuit judge in Pike County, began his affiliation with the NAA when he became a member and soon after an officer of his local alumni group, the Pike County Chapter. From 2001-2003 he served as the NAA District 13 vice president.

After graduating from the University in 1969 with a degree in business, Barr returned to the UA Law School and received his juris doctor degree in 1972. Thankful of the ...
