TRACY -- Two interceptions by Stanley Arukwe and a defense that held Tracy to 65 yards in the first two quarters Friday night helped West to a 21-0 halftime lead en route to a 27-0 non-league win before a capacity crowd at Peter B. Kyne Field.

"They beat us up front pretty good," Bulldogs coach Mark Stroup said of the season opener. "We had our defense on the field way too much in the first half because of the turnovers, and that really hurt us.
