Frederick Douglass IV seeks national memorial for ancestor

Frederick Douglass IV, great-great grandson of the famed abolitionist,
orator and suffragist, Frederick Douglass, visited Washington, D.C., during
Congressional Black Caucus Weekend, to seek legislation for a national
monument on behalf of his ancestor.

"I support legislation that will be introduced by Congressman Danny K.
Davis to authorize a National Memorial and Gardens honoring Frederick
