The National Paint & Coatings Association's (NPCA) chairman of the board Charles E. Bunch, chair man and CEO of PPG Industries, Inc., received the Business Citizen medal from the Friends of Adam Smith (FOAS) as one of its 2007 Adam Smith Award winners. The award is presented annually to one elected official and one business leader whose actions and attitudes exemplify the spirit of free enterprise as espoused by Adam Smith, a philosopher and professor often credited with establishing the concept of free enterprise capitalism.
